The Bay has been getting a lot of attention lately with Kreayshawn‘s breakthrough as well as top artists like Drake showing love and respect for Bay Area rap legend, Andre “Mac Dre” Hicks.
Mac Dre broke into the underground Bay Area rap scene back in 1989 with his hit “Too Hard for The F*ck!n Radio” and gained more popularity during the early to mid 90′s. Mac Dre was the founder of the biggest independent record label in The Bay, Thizz Entertainment and also created many Bay Area dances such as “The Elizabeth,” “The Bird” and “The Thizzle Dance” to name a few.
