Tyga’s Album “Careless World” Pulled for Copyright Infringement

Tyga - Careless World Album CoverTyga was set to release his new album Careless World: Rise of the Last King this week on Tuesday, February 21st, however, it looks like the Young Money rapper may have hit a road block.

Word on the street is that Tyga’s album got recalled from major retailers like Best Buy and Amazon due to uncleared samples of Dr. Martin Luther King‘s voice. Retailers were instructed to return all shipments back to Young Money, while the label tries to cook up something new to release in the coming weeks.

The odd part is that the Martin Luther King estate has tried to battle similar cases in court and have always lost with the claim that it is public domain. So what could be the real reason for Carless World to get denied from shelves at Best Buy?

You just never know with Tyga and let’s be real.. his style isn’t the most original. Just check out the name of his last mixtape, Bitch, I’m The Shit. Is it a coincidence that a Bay Area rapper that goes by the name of Roach Gigz released his mixtape, Bitch, I’m a Player – long before Tyga’s mixtape.. see a resemblance here people? SMH
