2011 was yet another successful year for Mr. Drizzy Drake and he chose to close it out with a performance in the Big Apple for Carson Daly‘s New Years Eve special. Drake perfomed many hits from Take Care like “Headlines” and “Make Me Proud.”
Alongside the Young Money heartthrob was ex-girlfriend Zineb aka Nebby. You may recall hearing her name in several of Drake’s songs over the years like “Look What You’ve Done” – “It’s like ’09 in your basement and I’m in love with Nebby / And I still love her but it fell through because I wasn’t ready.” Drizzy’s first smash hit, “Best I Ever Had” was also written for Nebby, who was his girlfriend before all the rich and fame.
